New - The ZEISS Digital Lens

An innovative solution for a digital world

With ZEISS Digital Lens, ZEISS is introducing a new first-pair lens product category. It is specifically designed to meet the vision needs of people aged 25 to 45 who are experiencing near vision discomfort for the first time. Regardless of whether they are single vision wearers or not yet spectacle wearers.

Mobile digital devices have conquered the world at an extremely fast pace and pose new challenges to the human eye. Digital Eye Strain is now widespread, nearly 70% of adults experience some form of digital eye strain due to prolonged use of electronic devices, with the largest number of complaints coming from people well below presbyopic age.

ZEISS Digital Lenses

Mobile digital devices have conquered the world at an extremely fast pace and pose new challenges to the human eye.

The frequent use of digital mobile devices is challenging on the human eye. With the constantly growing use of digital screens, the number of daily cycles switching from far to near vision and back has increased considerably. This is very demanding on the ciliary muscle of the eye and – with diminishing accommodation capabilities – can lead to blurred vision, tired or dry eyes and neck strain.
